Great Ormond Street Hospital

Welcome to MJM (Painters & Decorators) Ltd's dedicated page to the Mittal Children's Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Great Ormond Street Hospital has been MJM's most celebrated project to date. We as a company are very proud to have been the preferred decorating contractor on such a prestigious and meaningful project.

The newly constructed building in London is named The Morgan Stanley Clinical Building which forms the first phase of the Mittal Childrens Medical Centre and replaced part of the Southwood building.

The building opened successfully in June 2012 and has outstanding 'green' environmental friendly credentials from the initial construction materials all the way through to the paint applied to the subtrates.

Our works were carried out over 10 levels which would facilitate an extensive plant room covering two complete floor plates to operate the vast array of equipment needed to run Great Ormond Street Hospital. Seven of the levels facilitate modern wards solely for children with acute conditions and chronic illnesses with one of those levels facilitating the state of the art operating theatres also. Level 2 of the building houses a highly impressive cafeteria area, and from the pictures below you will see the extensive design and decoration put into this area.
